Ready to put together

January 9th I finally got my 1/2 scale Peter Capaldi TARDIS.  Hangar 18 Props met me in Moss Point, MS & I rushed home to get it put together. It wasn’t an easy thing to do.

Humm...how does this go?

The wood being so thin, some on it split while putting it together. I had some Gorilla glue at the house, but that didn’t help either.

We could get 3 sides up, but had MAJOR problems with the 4th side.

1/2 scale TARDIS put together…FINIALLY!

Since Verity & Brian from Hangar 18 Props were still in Mississippi, I gave them a call and they came to the house the next day to help us get it together. They even offered to make new parts to replace the ones that had split while we were trying to put it together. (Really great people.) I told them we were fine. One it was together, I did not plan on taking it apart again anyway.

My grandson, Gavin, loves the TARDIS and my sonic screwdriver.

My grandson, Gavin, loves the TARDIS! It is his size, so he says. I bought a “TARDIS PARKING ONLY” sign and placed it in a special place in my living room. I know, some people will question me about it, but what better way to introduce the Doctor to new people.

Every time Gavin is at my house, he grabs my sonic screwdriver and uses it on the TRADIS.
